Learn to Speak the Christian Language

November 25, 2009

A language is a system of communication: a system of communication with its own set of conventions or special words (Microsoft Encarta 2008)

Every society has a language. Every trade has a language too. Tribes have languages also. Even the deaf learn sign language to communicate. Aircraft controllers are also trained to precisely focus on the exact words pilots and other controllers speak. Languages are not restricted to humans though. Computers have a language for instance. You could have heard of Visual basic, HTML, Java, etc. which are known as computer programming languages. Christianity also has a language.

Advantages of Speaking the Christian Language

The Christian Language also known as the Faith Language has the following advantages:

• Faith language pleases God. Jesus stood still when blind Bartimaeus called on him by faith language amidst a great number of people. (Mark 10:49)

• Demons obey only the faith language. Jesus’ disciples failed to cast out a demon because they lacked faith. (Matthew 17:17-18)

• Mountains move when addressed through the faith language. Jesus commanded us to move mountains by the faith language. (Mark 11:22-23)

Christian Language Utterance Skills

1. Say Let there be

The first words that God spoke when He started creating the universe and all that exists in it are “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3 KJV). These words are actually translated from one Hebrew word hâyâh pronounced haw-yaw’ which literary means to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass.

The bible says that, Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. (Job 22:28 KJV). That is our heritage: to say things into existence.

2. Say I am (only positively)

God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM (Exodus 3:14 KJV). The word translated I AM is the same Hebrew word hâyâh is translated “Let there be”. This time God uses the word hâyâh to say that “this is how I exist”. Actually hâyâh is the root word for the name of God- Yehôvâh (yeh-ho-vaw’) which means the Self Existent one.

The Gospel according to Saint John records 10 I AM’s spoken by Jesus Christ. I am that bread of life. (John 6:48 KJV), I am the light of the world. (John 9:5 KJV), I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 KJV), etc. The Greek word translated I AM in Jesus’ words is EIMI (i-mee’) which literary means to be, to exist, to happen, to be present.

3. Say I can

When Joshua and Caleb said I can (Numbers 13:30), God was so pleased with them but when Prophet Jeremiah said I cannot, God rebuked him (Jeremiah 1:6-7).

Say I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13 KJV)

4. Speak in the now

Notice that God uses the present perfect tense when He speaks to Joshua concerning the conquest of Jericho.
And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. (Joshua 6:2 KJV)

The LORD said that I have given into thine hand Jericho even before the conquest. Learn to speak in the present tense, present perfect tense, and present progressive tense.

5. Be Emphatic

The sound of a horn, and the voice of words, the hearers of which made request that not a word more might be said to them: (Hebrews 12:19 BBE)

When God spoke to the Israelites from Mount Sinai the voice of God was so Forcible, Strong and Impressive that they pleaded to Moses that they should not hear it again.

Add a compulsive tone to your voice especially when addressing Satan and his cohorts.

6. Rejoice always

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. (Luke 10:21 KJV)

The language of faith is spoken with joy because whatsoever things that you speak by faith you acquire immediately. Hence joy confirms that you have spoken by faith.

Exposing Satanic attacks “Part 1”

November 8, 2009

The most common allegory for Satan is “The Serpent”. The first reference is found in Genesis 3:1 and the last is Revelation 20:2. Certainly Satan’s character resembles that of a serpent in many ways. However in this article we shall consider only one character and that is that of a PYTHON.

Pythons are best described as constrictors. Constrictor, a term used to describe certain snakes that wrap their coils around and squeeze their prey in order to kill it by suffocation.

How does Satan suffocate Christians?

The bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. (Hosea 4:6 KJV). The Hebrew word translated “destroyed” in this verse literally is, “To be dumb or silent, hence to fail or perish”.

Satan knows that confessing or speaking Christians are winning Christians. Notice that all the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds through the use of our mouths. We overcome him by the blood of the lamb and by the speaking of our testimony.

Hence, his against speaking Christians and as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may silence through constriction.

Spirit of Faith

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV)

Believing Christians are speaking Christians. We speak what we believe. What do we believe? We believe the entire word of God. The Spirit of Faith is all about speaking the word of God i.e. confessing the scriptures.

When Satan deceives you with symptoms of sickness say out loud, “Christ Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and with his stripes I am healed”. (Isaiah 53:5 KJV)

When he presents you with the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches say, “I know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for my sake he became poor, that I through his poverty might be rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV)

The word of God is loaded with scriptures that address every situation in life. There is a scripture for overcoming Satan through confessing it over and over again to him until he flees.

Meet you at the top; that’s if you keep confessing the word of God.
